Sodium Gluconate, also known as sodium pentahydroxyhexanoate, is a sodium polyhydroxy carboxylate salt with the chemical formula CHNaO, a molecular weight of 218.14, and a CAS registry number of 527-07-1. This product is a white or light yellow crystalline granule or powder, odorless and salty in taste. It is highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in ether. It has good water solubility and stability.
